"Can Millennials Change the World?" by A.J Meenai

Today is the MPU subject class of Social Networking as usual. But there was a special guest been invited to give a motivated talk for us today. The title is "Can Millennials Change the World?" by A.J Meenai.

During this modern technology era, people used to communicate by all those social media. Face-to-face communicating become lesser and lesser. And these related to soft skills. Based on his slides show stated that 77% of employers say soft skills are equal to hard skills. But 16% of employers say soft skills are MORE IMPORTANT than hard skills. I agree that soft skills is really important for all of us. It is an emotional intelligence, learning in living life, but not in textbooks.  We should have the ability to connect with people.

He also had shared 10 skills to success which really impressed me.

1. Speaking

-Able to speak out

2. Being honest with yourself

3. Confidence

-Brave to express your mind and idea.

4. Listening

-Understand what others talking before you start to comments.

5. Managing your time

6. Stop whining

-Stop complaint, so that you won't be so negative to everything.

7. Staying present in the moment

-Try to appreciate what is happening, so that you could get information at the first moment.

8. Being consistent

9. Getting enough sleep

-It is not an easy task as we usually get distracted by many social media.

10. Having empathy

As a conclusion, I feel really grateful that I attended this talk. Mr A.J use his interesting presentation verbals and actions successfully catch my attention.  Moreover, the information that he shared are really useful for my future.
